State Line City, IN?
In some ways, lots of things happen in these gaps between postings. And, in other ways, the overall state of things remains the same. I could go on and on about random story that happened, except that while it's going on, you're living it instead of documenting it. I watched Mr. Holland's Opus a few days ago... I saw it back in the days of 1996. Ten years ago. Things were different, then. I was in high school; homework was my concern. You know, that sort of thing. Yet, looking back, I still find I'm concerned with the same sorts of things. Where am I going? What am I doing? And, while we're trying to get where we want to go, it's the journey of life that's interesting. Life keeps on happening. I won't drone on and on about what happened, though, for you historians out there, I was Wonka for the candy holiday. That's usually what I write about in the New Year. Tonight, I'll be going to the state line to do what I was going to do last year: celebrate the annual calendar rollover twice. Have fun, everyone, and see you in 2006. (Oh, and as a note, I knew about the leap second months ago. I'm on a mailing list for that sort of thing.)
